350 hours is a decent amount of hours but everyone takes different amounts of time for their brain to get used to aiming / seeing the important details. You're probably making straight forward tactical errors if you're just getting doinked straight off the bat all the time though

and / or maybe you have gone down the path of avoiding fights and playing super carefully rather than seeking fights just to get better at them

It's got great damage... but 2 shots is kinda awful. I think it's well-balanced, but definitely deserves the price tag. You can walk into the street with a lebel or krag, and supress your foes with sustained attack. Same with cenny, especially marathon, frontier and infantry. Drilling, your shots need to count, and you usually have to fight from cover. The shotgun, though... it's like having a romero shorty on your rifle.
