since it’s in the offhand it would only do heavy/light melees when you aren’t in shoulder aim. If you want to queue your unique melee, you would use the switch ammo key while in melee mode, if you wanna switch ammo, go into shoulder aim/ads and switch

As a fellow recent beginner, LeMat is great - 9 rounds and an under barrel shotgun is great.

I like doing the weekly weapon challenges in Clash with vulture trait - you can get a feel for the weapons and fights quickly and if you win, you loot a lot of bodies for hunt dollars. I take one weapon I like plus one for the challenge usually.

You can take a free hunter to worry even less about dying, but the regular ones plus vulture is good too

Polling rates is the same as dpi in a sense, higher is better, but reaching for the optimal point of your hardware is more optimal. There are mice that do better at 2kHz polling than they do at 8kHz.

If you see someone using zoom in overlays then you can report them. That kind of stuff does get bans, even legit programs like some parts of Nvidia's capabilities were blacklisted and deemed banworthy cause players could create custom zooms for their ironsights and mess around with contrast/color/etc to get more clarity.
