We have heard your feedback and know that you are divided by this idea. While it would pool more players together, it would fracture the pools more as some would opt in and some out. And those opting out could feel they are being punished more. A more favorable method of cross-play some of you suggested would be input-based matchmaking.

I mean, with my limited knowledge on how these kind of things works, I do know that companies like steam, sony and microsoft does offer cheap, if not free lobby hosting servers.
If you are PS player, your lobby is on a sony server and when you find a match, your lobby is gonna be put over to a Crytek match servers.
So to unify that, it would mean Crytek would need to by more servers to host lobbies themselves and then unify the lobby system, which is usually done thru linking to an account.
I am for that, just to give people crossprogression too :)
