it would be high tier but takes too much skill. if you can perfectly aim center mass and account for leading, its basically a semi auto mosin in the range of every compound fight. it also limits your secondary weapon if you want to be ammo efficient, only running obrez drum. normal mosin better since bad players will perform better with forgiving two taps to limb even if their aim is off

They will camp the outsides of boss lairs.
They will wiggle-jump-peek windows and corners so you are more likely to hit their arms for reduced damage.
They will rotate so frequently you think you're being attacked by two teams.
They will do things that the majority of the player base don't expect and don't have the skill/practive to counter their techniques and plays.

Some of that XP will go to bloodline XP (think of it as your player level, separate from Hunters).
Earning XP will earn you Hunt Dollars at certain Bloodline Levels, and from Dark Tribute (daily XP grind).
Increasing Bloodline progress also unlocks tools and consumables, and traits (perks).
Traits you buy with trait points which your earn on a Hunter by leveling them up.
Earning XP with guns unlocks their variants.
You can loot other Hunter's guns and find them in the world, but you buy a starting loadout (guns, health, utility, explosives) with Hunt Dollars.
Legendary/DLC Hunters once owned are purchased with Hunt Dollars, and you can still purchase them with Hunt Dollars after prestiging.

And from what I’ve seen in different parts of the community, a lot of people are pretty pissed about it too.

1: Their server might be barren, can be a case of the classic "no one plays on this server so I'm gonna jump server", tale as old as multiplayer servers have been a thing.
2: "Ping abuse" is not a thing, peekers advantage is, but that happens both ways, in fact high ping is a disadvantage bc it gives you worse trade windows, a low ping player always have a chance to trade not vice versa.
3: EU IS the most populated server, so it makes sense to gravitate towards that.

One of the worst parts of extraction shooters is spending time in the menu so I get being frustrated with the old UI. Hunt does a lot of things right that other extraction shooters don't (crafting/selling/recycling to build a loadout after every game is so annoying) so there's no excuse for it to be so cumbersome like it was

Spent so much time offering ideas on a variant you can't lever but has a longer barrel, or different stats between a lever terminus and a non lever terminus. Never tried to stay in complaints, but nothing ever really changed. I quit hunt showdown for a bunch of reasons, this was not a super meaningful reason game wise, but a personal one

We did, it really made me happy, you're one of the only good memories of this community. I quit hunt showdown here recently because they keep making mistakes they've claimed to learn from or bugs they said they fixed still exist, bow an arrow existing, explosive arrows being made scarce but failing to see that the bomb launcher would be moved over to. Console has actually been killed by their negligence, and I genuinely wish I was being overdramatic.
