Even when there's absolutely no doubt that they're hacking - this same guy killed me a few weeks ago from 400m+ at start of match - the server doesn't want to host/condone harassment campaigns, and having a more lax stance on it would lead to edge cases of naming and shaming people who aren't hacking, with the argument from posters that it's so obvious that it should be allowed. A blanket ban keeps it easier to maintain a respectful community.

Guys, for those who are having this error (I was too), I opened the Hunt files folder and deleted the AntiCheat folder. Right after that, I checked the Hunt:Showdown files on Steam. Another thing: I had a mod in the story mode of Red Dead Redemption 2, and I ended up deleting that mod's folder as well. If I'm not mistaken, Hunt and Red Dead/GTA have the same AntiCheat. After doing this, I was able to enter a match without being disconnected by Hunt.

well, i don't go around sneaky per se, but if it sounds like there's more than one team around, i tend to wait until they start engaging each other before engaging myself. i dont wait until the fighting's over because i like the chaos created by a third group in a fight like that, but that's just me

depends on my mood! i usually avoid scopes cuz i'm bad with them, my go-to loadout is a lemat carbine with FMJ and a new army with dumdum
i should mention, i don't play exclusively solo or anything
i usually play teams, but i enjoy solo when i do it

the big thing about hunt showdown i've found is that it's super duper important to try to stay positive. sometimes you die. sometimes you die back to back to back. sometimes today might not be your day. but that's okay
