Let me rephrase, there used to be a lot of players, but it sort of got filed down to just a few die hard players who just gritted their teeth and dealt with it. It was sort of like trend chasing, once the newbies got tired of nuking players and playing on easy mode, sort of everyone left. People who loved the game but hated the bow gritted their teeth until they couldn't. Arc raiders has taken a whole groupchat of hunt players out

idea: At the start of every game a snail spawns randomly for each hunter. it cannot die. it cannot drown. it cannot be stopped. it will break doors and concertina. it is slowly going for the assigned hunter. if it touches you, you die.

Its still leverage. so if they give you an opening to use it you now have a teamate back making a huge difference. sometimes the necroed person gets immedietly executed even if no one is watching the body. but it still provides a nice window to move or chug nades
