Paid lore is pretty crap but it's Krampus lore so it's not like it was ever going to connect to the greater story (which has been on hold for a year 😩 ) It's also time limited which I really wish they'd stop doing. They take care to move away from FOMO but just can't shake the itch to try it in new ways.
The Paid stat trackers are worth loudly complaining about until they get fixed. Paying money just for the satisfaction of seeing a number go up in a menu? It's one thing if they want to monetize pride and have you pay to show off your stats in the player profile, but to TURN THEM ON? It's total bullshit.

It's been in the works in testing and stuff, but to actually implement and turn on the trackers would have to happen at a set point, which might as well be the same point when players can actually look at them.
Setting all the stats to zero is fine imo, cause it was only tracking a few things behind the scenes, so if they wanted to track everything it would create very lopsided stats for the veterans. Now it'll be clean and even (if only the trackers were actually turned on)

For the record this is me from playing the early preview live, not a leak, but regardless the bottom 2 stats are "hunter with most kills" and "weapon with most kills". To track the weapon with most kills, you need to track all of the weapon kills and pick the one with the highest amount. So clearly the stats are tracked behind the scenes whether or not you buy the specific weapon's stat tracker. Now question is, was the bullet point on the stream wrong/poorly written, did they mean it doesn't show the stat until it is bought, or are they genuinely tracking an entirely separate value after you hit buy on a specific weapon kill tracker

Yea you do have to consider that we are now in a constant state of event hunt. So it is truly not hard to get to level 30-40 or even straight up max hunter in a single hunt from XP boons and normal gameplay

There used to be a graph with the bell curve of MMR but it's been so long that it's probably not reliable. The majority of players sit around 3-4 I think.
The only hard stats we know is that 6 star is meant to be around 2% of the total player population, though it's naturally going to be a higher percentage of the active player pop.
