@fallow citrus what this means is basically don't over-crouch. It is a very common bad habit for new players to develop—they crouch everywhere. Crouch travel, crouch peek, crouch rotate, crouch fight, crouch crouch.

crouching can be a useful tool but it's important to not always do it

Possible solutions for the "Crycloud Error":

Some affected regions have some local issues connecting to the servers recently.
As the servers themselves appear not to be the origin of this issue it is most likely some middle point in the connection between player and game server causing problems.

Some people reported that using a VPN and connecting through a different neighboring country helped in some cases, or switching their server region in the config file to a different one before starting.

To open the config and change to a different server you have to do the following:

1. Go to your Hunt installation folder (SteamsteamappscommonHunt Showdownuserprofilesdefault)
2. Find the file called "attributes.xml" and open the file. (you might need a program like notepad++) to open it properly)
3. search for these lines with the search function (ctrl+f)
   <Attr name="Region" value="eu"/>
   and
   <Attr name="Primary Region Switcher" value="eu"/>
   -# (as this issue is mostly affecting players from europe the EU server is used in this example.)
4. replace "eu" with "us_east" or "russia" or any other server you have a tolerable ping to.
5. save and close. now you should be able to connect to the game again.

The lfg channel is usually good to find players :)
And yeah I get your point, I guess you can take comfort in that nowadays you unlock everything by lvl 62, back in the days you had to unlock weapons up until the end of lvl 90.
And while some traits might seem weird getting unlocked that late, end of the day, it have to be something I guess.

If you play enough, youll notice that you can shoot where someone ducked down from and somehow still hit them. Youll die running around corners and find you body lands a couple m from where you were on your end. Trading is still a bit of an issue if you play shotguns due to latency, but theyve improved that a bit. Servers arent great, but they arent awful. (I play at 12-14 ping US East)

Yeah I get that they're gonna do that in the future I read the page on it but that doesn't change that one week is an arbitrary, short time limit to redeem codes. They could've easily set them to end at the actual end of the event but no they set it to a week and tons of people are missing stuff they contributed to earning.
