Definitely not dying but I feel like your experience may differ depending on what servers you play on. On EU servers I can easily find matches even in unpopular gamemodes at like 2am on a wednesday. But I heard that on OCE servers getting empty lobbies is plague and sometimes the population is so low you can barely play normally.

I tend to agree. The game has issues, but no other extraction shooter has quite hooked me in. Tried about 400 hours of Tarkov, but that game has been disappointment followed by scummy P2W practices. Other extraction shooters are just hollow.

Which is such a personal disappointment because they made the katana. Like literally even in melee they can't remove bias. And maybe bias isn't the word but like holy powercreep. The martialist trait has unironically insanely long range, the longest of all melee weapons, and yet the hammer is a fraction of that range, but see I don't want the katana nerfed, I want all melee buffed to the katana's level.

I don't think this is meta in any way but I like to run another compact gun, preferably fast firing with the same ammo type. Maybe just an officer brawler or A vandal if you have the points for qm + levering. It's fun because especially with an ammo box you get tons of ammo and can just spam constantly. One of my favourite matches recently was Officer Carbine Deadeye with poison, Officer brawler with poison, an ammo box and pain sense. My teammate also ran poison ammo so we actually got good use of pain sense.

Recov shot makes silly scenarios where teams just keep killing and reviving each other with no penalty, it allows people to get away with dumb stuff scott free. it also means you cannot rely on health information that you gather at all, whereas previously there was a strategic layer where you keep track of enemy health pools and who to target and what part of the body etc.
it also removes a factor that lured people in to objectives to regain health

Portable ammo box further erases the single balancing point of long ammo repeaters that is already struggling to be relevant, making them truly objectively the best due to never having to worry about ammo.

Surefoot means in some scenarios cooking a grenade can just be a guaranteed kill with no chance to run away, it further buffs throwing tools which do not need that, and it allows for medkit and running [which i think you know why is bad but if you need me to explain that i can]

You get 600 BBs from the battlepass, and the remaining 400 effectively come from the 8+ weeks of weekly challenges you can do during the event. So it cuts into the profits weekly challenges give you but ultimately it keeps you from buying BBs if you focus only on BPs
