They are burner accounts, if you are high elo you will see lots of them

People buy them cheap (an steam acc, with the game already purchased) and exploit/cheat/grief without a possible ban repercussion

Its blatant at times because they added theirselves as friends

But that is why you see a 40h guy playing with you

despite him having deep game knowledge and mechanics

Its scummy af and should be banned, but they dont care at all (in fact, it generates them more money after all)

Sometimes they dont even have the proper steam configuration and steam warns you "hey this account is new and its not configurated" and other times they dont even try to hide it and just have a level 2 steam account with only 1 game (hunt) xd

It's best to only use a hunter for one bounty extract per day. And we are incentivized to have a full roster

There are a couple bonuses, the biggest one is the dark tribute 2 upgrade pts to the whole roster

If you are new, you dont need to retire them

You hold 5 at one time for an achievement. Retire 25 for an achievement. Other than that you retire to get a burst of xp to your bloodline which can give monies

Playing with a level 50 will grant you more XP, which then gets translated into bloodline

When you reach certain amount of bloodline, you get money

Plus, you are playing with a perked hunter. Unless you do prestige or want to reach level 100 fast (but you can do this without retiring if you dont plan in prestiging) there is no need

Get XP envelopes and its a wrap

More hunters in your pool (that, for when you have more times) can serve (if you dont prestige) to hoard more and more stuff, if you feel the need for it

So weird question. I'm teaching a new player the game and it's been about a month. He's doing really well but I kinda feel like I'm holding him back. I usually end up getting a majority of the kills on games that go well. Should I hold back and try to give him more opportunities?

loadouts can be saved under the "loadout" section on the top of the screen and "Attachments" arent actually equipable/unequipable. They're premade guns with things like scopes or silencers. to get them simply find a gun you like, run that base version of that gun until you've killed enough people/ai to get said gun unlocked

no, their anti cheat task force isn't very effective, iron sight magnification and the new cheat being doled out by some Russian has a wide cone of fire that you can set your accuracy rate to auto aim within that, making it hard to detect if you have an 80% headshot chance within that cone

Rexnor is great on teams, but does solo well, too.

Not a bug, just awkward implementation. You're hitting tab at some point on your, iirc, death screen or results screen

Tab is the hotkey for that setting and so if you alt tab or such it toggles

I drop them around like crazy. I take vigilant most of the time, because traps are kinda META right now.

Now, if you're super skilled, like me, you can spot the traps, forget about them, and still die

Highest percentage traps for me are the ones I place during a firefight. If they delay their push a bit too long, then they get punished. I play solo. One alert gives me a free one tap.

I like playing sparks. Sucks versus multiple opponents at medium or close range. So I need help.

But getting that wallbang kill at a hundred and twenty meters is beautiful. Or taking down a hunter with one shot because he accidentally grabbed a thorn once, a minute and a half ago...

Won a clash, solo. By "won," I mean I got a kill, the highest mmr in the lobby grabbed the bounty and left without engaging anyone, so I got out. 1 kill, no deaths, I win.

The poor guy I killed, though... I cooked the dynamite perfectly, and his partner ran away and never came back.

As far as extraction shooters go its gonna be be trial and error as they differ a bit. But in my personal opinion hunt is a good start. I've tried tarkov, marauders and looking at ark raiders but hunt is that one I come back to because despite the issues shenanigans just happen. even doing bad I can take free hunters and turn it around, I can supply from the map and like tonight i can have some deinks and not worry about losing it all. its stressful and crap happens but as far as extractions go its the fun because you can power through. Its just fun for me. Opinions may very though lol.
