but they broke it in a way that just tuned up the video's brightness by 200

and then I use HandBrake for compression

No it doesn't, this video is an example of the blast radius. You are not 99% likely to miss, the radius is enough to cover a whole room.

Obviously you aren't throwing it with direct LoS, the whole point of throwables is to lob them over cover and through windows.

Your point of not being able to bounce them and therefore being unable to use them to the effectiveness of dynamite and frags makes no sense to me because the most efficient way to use both of those is to cook and airburst them most of the time anyway, which skips the bouncing part. Otherwise you are just giving the opponent time to react or to dauntless the throwable.
