First game of the day, and yet again I'm reminded why I hate people. 10 seconds into the game, we run forward, scare the crows. A 100 prestige, lvl 100 guy with 2 134 hours in this game starts typing how we're both rambo. I tell him it's the start of the game, nobody cares, we'll start worrying about noise in the midgame, he begins to shot any AI he finds. Ends up dying without even getting a shot out and quitting on the spot.

Possible solutions for the "Crycloud Error":

Some affected regions have some local issues connecting to the servers recently.
As the servers themselves appear not to be the origin of this issue it is most likely some middle point in the connection between player and game server causing problems.

Some people reported that using a VPN and connecting through a different neighboring country helped in some cases, or switching their server region in the config file to a different one before starting.

To open the config and change to a different server you have to do the following:

2. Find the file called "attributes.xml" and open the file. (you might need a program like notepad++) to open it properly)
3. search for these lines with the search function (ctrl+f)
   <Attr name="Region" value="eu"/>
   and
   <Attr name="Primary Region Switcher" value="eu"/>
   -# (as this issue is mostly affecting players from europe the EU server is used in this example.)
4. replace "eu" with "us_east" or "russia" or any other server you have a tolerable ping to.
5. save and close. now you should be able to connect to the game again.

The katana is a strong melee option, one of the best in game. Always a solid pick. I’d switch the Claw for a regular Pax—less expensive, and there’s nothing the Claw’s melee can do that the Katana can’t do better.

However, I’d also suggest swapping the Pax for a rifle, if possible, as it has only six shots, lower range, and weaker damage. Maybe a Ranger 73.

Oh, and bring Dusters with you in your equipment, as some enemies like Immolators are MUCH better to take out with weapons like brass knuckles and hammers.
