One thing I've noticed with always having Blade Seer is that on bosses like Butcher, your throwing items phase into the ground

Like, they just fall 5 feet below the surface and can't be retrieved

if you throw into the front when he does his final swing fall over, they will end up in the ground 9/10 times

It's nice to know why we were never able to retrieve our throwing items tho

For ages I couldn't guess why they just poofed if a butcher or meatheat fell on them

as for that one, the increased melee range helsp with doing a slight strafe and then heavy hitting them in the side with spear

And while it's a lot more rare than before, sometimes you just straight up can't pick up the throwing items

THAT was infuriating
