Yea I can set shoulder aim to toggle and ADS to hold. But the problem is the moment I sprint, it resets and my gun is always lowered.

so I can't raise my gun before a fight and then play psuedo-gunslinger basically. I have to constantly toggle back to the gun being raised, since sprinting resets it.

Flechette is basically tiny darts that won’t 1 tap but have vastly extended range and do apply bleed.

But mainly the extra range helps extend the 1 tap and makes it kinda brainless to swap to it and shoot in the general direction after hitting with the sparks

Consumables, and especially highly competitive ones, are some the most expensive money sinks in the game :)
A good cheap consumables set up I run is 3x small regen shots and a recovery shot.
Yes, the recovery shot is pricey, but also that good, but you could switch it out for something else if you really wanna save some money :)
For tools, in teams I run: Dusters, medkit, chokes and flare pistols, simply too good to change for anything else imo.

So, regardless of the weapon model, caliber, realism, logic, etc, I think bornheim match is balanced quite poorly:

• The non-headshot TTK is extremely fast along with the weapon being spammable/forgiving.
• It's also very strong for headshots, but you really just get them "incidentally" while spamming upper body, since the bodyshots are so good.
• The inconsistency with the arms feels bad.
• You aren't encouraged to be deliberate.

Purely from a balancing perspective, you could give it more recoil, lower the rate of fire, and make it more consistent 2-shot to the body.
But that wouldn't fit theme or logic behind the weapon:

• The caliber this gun shoots has 1/4th the energy of a .22lr. It kills you next week. It makes no sense for it to hit like a truck, and be one of the fastest killing guns in the game.
• Believability/realism/logic, whatever you call it, this stuff does matter, even in high fantasy universes and arcade games. You don't make an MP7 a sniper and a .338 lapua an SMG.

So, a better way to balance it would be to make it consistently 3 shot, and if it's too weak then, small buffs to the recoil.
It would refine it as a strong deliberate-headshot weapon, but something that will have slightly poorer bodyshot TTK than much higher caliber weapons.
It also would remove the feels-bad of the inconsistency with arm shots--from both sides.

I'm not a realism junkie btw. The slug and nitro RNG is horrible game design, despite
being maybe realistic for smoothbore weapons (per crytek). Why? It goes against the deliberate, consistent gunplay that Hunt's supposed to have.
And RNG, in general, is extremely dogshit in shooters especially ones with low BTK.

Slugs too strong? Dial back their 1-shot range by a meter. Too weak now? Increase it by 0.5meters.
We don't need RNG that only punishes deliberate, well-aimed shots. It feels like shit, and makes you question every kill/death that involves those weapons.

Yeah also still think one of the core issues with current slugs, beyond the lack of pen, is that buckshot just is close enough to what slugs does AND can 1-tap more easily when hitting arms/chest compared to slugs.
So you get way less margin for error for very little gain and running up that extra 1 or 2 meter is quite easy for buckshot.
That said not that excited about the idea that slugs should have longer 1-tap range lol.

Possible solutions for the "Crycloud Error":

"Vet" is a little excessive. Back then, when I had like 30-50 hours in this game, I was dominating newbies, but absolutely hated going against people with 3k+ hours and getting whacked from a bush 200 meters from me. I still have a few memories from back then, remember solos only bounty hunt? What a boring camp fiesta, jeez.

I only really got into the game in 2020 and then 2022 when I started playing duos and trios with friends. I don't remember why I stopped playing in 2020, but in 2022-23, I stopped playing after seeing how extremely grindy the Serpent Moon event was. Like, I was working full time, spent ~2 hours a day on hunt, pretty much all my free time and I still didn't finish the pass. And the community was unbearable, "well it's just skins, why are you so bothered, just call in sick at work" like Jesus christ do you hear yourself speak? Anyway, I did spent like 10 hours in the last 3 days already and loving it so far.

On another note, since i have 20k to spend, what's some of the most dumb, OP equipment I can take? Other than Avtomat, I hate its recoil. King & Crown I assume, beyond that?

when you try to get close, they just try to pre attack you sometimes. so you can just bait the attack first by sprinting close then back uping up and fight them like normally
