You can loot weapons, tools, consumables and traits found throughout the world and from other dead hunters.
Apparently they recently added scarce weapons that you can't buy but can find.

The looting is definitely not as important as other extraction shooters, though.

You could easily go through all your matches without looting a thing if you really wanted to

A friend and me were playing when he just got Blackscreen in a match on both screens, followed with a crycloud error and he had to restart PC
Then I got the same problem while switching a loadout. Blackscreen, Crycloud Error, ALT+F4 not helping, cant open Taskmanager, they didnt even heard me over Discord anymore, waited over 5 minutes and then manual restart
Last one of us starts game, checks his hunters - same problem again xD

Silencers were in a pretty good state initially. The bullets were slower and lost their punch due to falloff faster, so you couldn’t be too far away, but the guns were very quiet to make up for it.

Then they added subsonic ammo and the damage nerfs and made the silencers even worse with nothing to compensate.

Maynard Sniper is like the one decent silenced gun because you can put HV on it to sort of get around the downsides of the silencer and the fact that it’s a sniper means you’re usually far enough away that the noise from not using subsonic ammo doesn’t really matter.

The Avto/double Sparks pistol build was a pretty bad build to begin with that couldn’t really do anything outside of ranges that were pretty much already covered by slug shotguns and for some reason Crytek decided it was worth going nuclear on ammo economy over.

Yeah, shadows are sort of weird. There are only a handful of shadows that get recycled for all weapons of a certain size. Like all full-size rifles use a Ranger shadow.

eh i don't feel like the nitro is particularly common or oppressive. neither is the avto really, outside some situations. it's just dumb. It's a bad AK47 in a world of single shot guns

Honestly, I think the only buff the Avto needs is to make the shots accurate to the sights. Gives it some mid-range capability but still limits you with the lack of ammo pool and 3-round burst minimum.
