Hunt is absolutely a masterpiece, but that does not garauntee you will personally feel that way. And nobody else can really tell you that, you have to experience and decide for yourself.

the vast majority of my hours are on console and from that perspective i will say i find it incredibly boring to fight newer/lower skilled players and stomp lobbies when before i found the 6* matchmaking to be very enjoyable, every fight was against good players and kept it tense

Hunt is niche and a lot of it's design philosophy runs counter to the dopamine chasing ultra high engagement no downtime stuff that is in most other modern shooters. that is a big part of why YMMV

im perfectly okay with the longer queue times but i understand im in the minority there. still, i believe mmr needs tweaking because the veteran playerbase on console has largely moved on and (from who ive spoken to) the newer players aren't happy about the same couple dozen dudes with very high hours wiping every lobby

i find that even not just the aim is worse on average, but the knowledge and way they play is so "bad" for lack of a better word

yeah, this sort of issue is mirrored on PC in low pop regions to an extent and is definitely one of the things that relates to player retention issues

i have much fewer hours on PC but maintain a 3kd and ill say that while the meta is different on PC (less frags, less melee weapons), and the skill floor is certainly higher, there are some absolutely insane console players that im not going to discredit

I played Destiny 2 on console having never really played FPS on console so I could play with a friend. That was rooooooough for genuinely months. Analogue sticks man. They were not made to do brain surgery.

How often do you guys encounter cheaters? I find they’re hard to spot, i always just assume someone got a nice/lucky shot on me. Only one time really stood out where I was hidden well and a team rolled up on my ass and they didnt have any dark sight
