ranger is just best overall, levering for high rof up close. specter is best shotgun, most forgiving even if you miss with solid range

still needs a certain amount of mechanical skill unfortunately, theyre just the easiest to run

ranger is a high skill ceiling weapon with an easy entrance since its SO fuckign cheap and VERY VERY effective, Vetterli is another one and with Iron Eye is the fastest bolt action in the game but has (to some people) untasteful iron sights and a pitiful velocity for the caliber

for shotguns honestly, the specter is the best all round bang for best "can never go wrong", its NOT the best one, that goes to CnK easily. but it is a beast for the price and unmatched in that regard

hunt is a game that doesnt enforce a competitive level of sweat like siege, counter strike, or valorant. so without rankings, you dont get a noticeable range of skill. there are stars in hunts mmr, but theyre KD based so its more playstyle. in a game like hunt with no objectives and the player freedom to hide in a bush or sniipe and camp like a rat, its not very accurate

honestly, use a Ranger and a bat at first until you get the hang of it, ngl that is a good beginner loadout that can deal with AI, the gun is GREAT for the price and has a crazy high skill ceiling so you can use it to even better effectiveness at 50 hours and even 50k hours

all of these weapons are insanely effective for new players and a good starting ground until you start to use the bigger more pricier stuff

with the "necromancer" trait, you get ONE self rez, the trait burns away when used. that is called a "burn trait"

no other signs besides if you hear/see other teammates with him

all of these will burn a body, and start burning away your bars whlie downed, as a solo it puts you on a timer until you HAVE to stand up with the trait or you just go back to lobby and accept the loss. otherwise a solo can stay dead for 20 minutes and stand up whenever they want
