Dolch used to be medium ammo but they made the change to "prototype bullet" to combat it's extensive use in matches so it would have to be resupplied with special ammo crates but by adding special ammo types like dumdum and fmj it effectively removed any meaning behind changing it to a prototype bullet classification because now everyone would just take dumdum or fmj on it so everyone would always just supply off special ammo.

You have to be recovery maxxing. Remedy, Relentless, Recovery Shot, Pledge Marks, Boss Banishing. Die 12 times in a match and extract with full health.

Krag just needed 125 dmg but they brought it up to 128 its also has better velocity, drop range and ammo reserve than Mosin unless you're using spitzer rounds.

Mosin also got a price increase and I dare say the only reason to run a Mosin is if you're going to use Spitzer

I disagree. Krag is long ammo and shoots faster than medium ammo repeating rifles. Why give it so many benefits when the core long ammo part is enough to make it devastating.

More ammo than it should have and more damage than it should have is such a bad combo

krag does 126, not 128, but imo it didnt need a damage buff at all, it shoots 0.48 seconds faster, then mosin, almost as fast as winnie, with long ammo balistsics,

Both of them are on DeSalle and both of them are simply easter eggs included by developers of the game. There is no larger meaning or lore inclusion for aliens in hunt and I have never seen let alone heard of a super secret hidden alien body at Kingsnake mine until recently.

Yeah I always felt like Hellborn was a little stale thematically because we already had a fire focused boss with butcher and I thought it was really weird that scorched earth didn't bring back either of the inferno weather conditions to the game. Ideally a giant bear wild target like Ursa Mortis would've made sense for mammon's gulch a lot more than Hellborn.

It's being treated like a miniboss in the event point system, you get just as much for killing a Target as you do for the Ursa Mortis

That it targets bleeding hunters like the meathead targets poisoned ones makes it seem less likely that it was intended to be a wild target though

Yeah and think of the name and lore for a second, the bear has a pretty unique name for AI and it's lore is that it's two bears in one because of the corruption with Heliostone both of which have names themselves. Initially I thought that because there was a year between Rotjaw and Hellborn I didn't think we'd actually get another wild target so soon after scorched earth which is about 4 months ago now but everything about this bear just feels wild target to me even though it isn't one.

Going back to what you said earlier it does really feel like they've had the idea for a bear for awhile but instead of writing it into the story where it gets summoned at someplace like Grizzly Lodge and kills everyone they rewrote it in as a regular bear AI for some circus event.
