With the 1896 trailers, the harvest of ghosts trailer, the ghost face trailer, and bones and bounties they might've just had enough of a backlog that something had to get cut

Shit, Skull Taker and Iron Bark are the only DLCs not to get trailers since they started doing regular trailers with Ronin back in 2020.

Looks like Posty also exists in the Apex Legends universe.

Outside of that it's usually whichever Hunter I have that is boosted during events for extra points.

I like Otis but unlike Otis, Bridgewater also has all the equipment in addition to his uniform so even though both Bridgewater and Otis are former Cavalrymen turned bounty hunter, Bridgewater still appears as if he belongs in the army. Basically Bridgewater looks more "standard issue" than Otis who appears more as a veteran and bounty hunter.

You've also got other hunters like Mountie who is a Mountie turned bounty hunter and Burnt Marshall who was a fire Marshall turned bounty hunter.

Maybe it’s just screaming into the void, but it’s incredibly frustrating to see Hunt go down the collaboration route when it’s spent so long unsullied by stuff like that, so long in its own world which had been so lovingly crafted. Post Malone and the like burst that bubble to me, if that makes any sense

Well, imo the Ghostface thing was rather overreacted (but it's not all good on Crytek side tho), the pen change is... not too bad imo, since it's also not properly adjusted for now and giving long ammo fmj more credits ain't too bad imo, then for Malone, I just take it more for now as a tribute to him that won't go that far. I don't like the idea of him being a playable hunter, but so far I don't think it'd be the case.

Once again and respectfully I'd have to disagree with your opinion on most of those choices for "shite skins in the game." I actually quite like the Frisk family wolf hunter skins and run them regularly depending on if an event is boosted by them or if I'm just simply feeling like running them. I said it earlier but the bloody red hood and wolf isn't my favorite but many people seem to love her and she has been a frequent reoccurring hunter that I see both friendly and enemy players in my lobby running. She is also, to my knowledge one of the most played skins in the game as of recent. Lulu is another skin that I frequently see both friendly and enemy players run in my lobbies and also to my knowledge one of the most played skins in the game. The past few dlc skins may have not been my most favorite either but it's clear that the art team has put a lot of time and effort into providing these skins to players and there do exist players out there that play them and possibly even main them. The same can be said for the featured battlepass skins, and personally Kendoka is probably one of my favorite hunters in the game currently.

Despite that, FInch coming back would be alright, his connection to the old AHA is a good chance for more info and his seeming immortality gives a good enough justification to drag him out of the sinkhole whenever - so long as they touch upon the horror of an immortal drowning for months.

He was dropped into a sinkhole attached to a bunch of cannonballs and some herbs that weaken him. It wasn't a ritual sacrifice so much as taking his powerful blood off of the board cause it could get in the way. The ritual with the murmurstone happened just a bit later.
You can re-read the event lore in the compendium in the pinned messages, it's got everything transcribed and archived.

Chary has some kind of a plan for bayo, even if it's just dealing with that pesky meddling little kid Kevin!

Whatever his plan was, it failed with the destruction of the murmurstone and the prevention of Desolation. Before the Tide trilogy, he was just messing around with stuff for power without it really leading anywhere interesting, the whole Moon trilogy was kinda just spinning its wheels while introducing some really crazy shit that had no further bearing on the long term Hunt story. The character just doesn't lend itself to further interesting stories compared to a new character taking the role for a different motive.

Like Lynch having some mix of hatred and envy for the Sculptor, and trying to amass cursed powers to the point she's transforming into a monster while fighting off other powerful entities that she's made enemies of in the past. That stuff has really good prospects for being the foundation of an event trilogy. She was defeated in the same sense that Chary was, but the explanation that the defeat forced her into being connected with corruption and limiting her was a good turnaround to bring her back into the story without making Bad as They Seem pointless. BATS even had the mysterious enemy entity helping the protagonists, but that was done better as well cause it doesn't try to explain it beyond it being some kind of spirit, rather than the literal moon. The snake spirit didn't have to become part of the core pantheon or anything.

I mean it could be a completely new skin but using the scrapbeak model featuring the same attacks, movement and boss mechanics as scrapbeak. Butcher doesn't usually have a pumpkin stuck to his head or greenery wrapped around him but during the holidays he does so giving scrapbeak some fancy new coat of paint with some arms doesn't seem out of Crytek's ability.

If it does happen to be something completely new I'll be pleasantly surprised because Hellborn, our last wild target, was only 3 months ago and the time between Rotjaw and Hellborn was about a year now.

I think someone saw a lack of engagement w the library and poor metrics on event lore reception in surveys as "people don't want to read this" as opposed to the reality of "the library was hard to navigate and there was little advertisement abt what was actually in it and how you could follow up the stories, and if there had been rewards alongside the lore in those levels in BPs people wouldn't have minded it being there"

Weird Sister and The Night Mother are proper voodoo practitioners, The Prescient is an occult seer, Daughter of Decay is very European pagan style witchy. Felis almost makes the cut but New World skinwalker type doesn't quite match occult/witchy.
On the male occult side, Hex Breaker has the style of someone knowledgeable in hermetic occultism, while Night Seer is a maddened prophet type. Bone Doctor is the king of Voodoo, and Skull Taker has some shamanistic style.
Out of all of them, The Prescient feels the most occult/witchy.

It fits some of the points. Unknowable entity from another world/existence whose presence warps reality in a localized area (Color Out of Space). Experimenting scientifically with powers beyond our comprehension may have opened the way for it (From Beyond), demented cultists that want to usher in the madness further (The Call of Cthulhu) . There's plenty of smaller story comparisons as well. The one thing it misses is the idea of humanity's horrific insignificance and unimportance in the face of the vast unknown. The Sculptor seems to place some degree of importance on humanity, it has interest in our stories. It replaces that theme with a more materialistic focus on the American Gilded Age, extracting wealth from killing the monsters, fighting each other for greed, all while political corruption puts a wrench in any better organization of containing the incursion.
