and even that feels in character with a guy whose primary character trait prior to that was "murdered his mentor"

hardin's q&a reenforced his character and showed his stance on the prior event, while also doing a fantastic job of teasing the saddlebags

felis had the least interesting one but it was also just a nice look into how she views things

hardin's one also paints an interesting picture of marshall brewer by showing her potentially before she was brought into the thick of the hunt since she seemed to be doing her actual job by arresting hardin

not arresting him but, idk doing a psych eval or whatever bc he just killed a bunch of people

I really started to like Hardin after his interview

I always thought he looked cool but seeing him in that interview gave me a good look into his personality and stuff and I think he is hilarious

quick question about the lore, why do some pacts are gone in between events and why do some carry over?

Some of them have fairly niche purposes and aren’t relevant to the conflict at hand

The lunar and infernal pacts seem to have dissolved as of Tide of Desolation with Chary being out of the picture for the time being. The other pacts (primal, smuggler, etc) seem to be existing and doing their own thing in the background based on the drowned pact meeting w them in that on chapter

It's been a while since keeping regular tabs on lore, but I could see lunar still being around despite Chary's "death". With Lynch's veiled threat in Desolation, and one of the most recent weapon entries calling the moon polluted, I'd imagine Kevin and the Lunar Pact feel their job isn't done.

Eh, The trailers are just that- trailers. They are meant to get your attention over actual hard lore. Crytek afaik isn't a movie studio, they make games. I was thinking about something silly regarding lore : what if the injection that gives the Hunters Dark Sight was also making them more resistant to damages and pain, also helping them resist for a short time against the Sculptor's corruption ?

As if, they can handle bullets much better than normal humans thanks to this, but they can only go in the regions plagued by the corruption for less than an hour, after that they won't be safe anymore and end up being cursed too.
