  • Revamped Compositor Shop. Combine Item and Ability Compositor into one with new mechanics;

Step 1. Choose Item OR Ability

Step 2. Choose Power OR "Property"

  • 2.a. Power. A static power upgrade at a lower rate (for example 25%, but can jackpot (scales with luck)! Costs a little more each time. Not a fan of the "80% but costs shields" and definitely not a fan of the Randomizer. It F me ALL the time. Something similar can still be in there ofc but getting both of them can be lose/lose with some items.
  • 2.b "Property". All the other stuff like crit chance, AoE (remove AoE from power scaling first!), no cost chance, double cast chance etc.

Thoughts?

We specifically removed the combined shop because it was too complicated, overloaded and also people kept doing the same upgrades every time
but i agree that im not a fan of high power and to a degree power randomization

What I don't like is the randomness of not being able to go for "what I want" in regards to spending money. Buying an item or weapon is almost always possible but the real gold sink is the compositors. So not finding the version I want can really make the run sub par.

In regards to High Power and Power Randomization, getting to choose between the 2 on an item that triggers often (passive mode) can really brick it. It's either you lose all your shields all the time, or a HIGH risk of getting -40% power (and you've still spent money for it). I often just start over at that point..

If you want to keep Randomizer, please remove the -40% and make it 0% and less chance to get it. So you still spend money but it doesn't break the item. The energy cost should perhaps not be a thing on items with low CD.

@coarse thunder What are your thought on adding AoE as an option side by side with damage and not scale it with power? Some items I'd like to keep small but do more damage for example.
