As i regularly play with people across the world I've noticed that damage dealt to enemies can be delayed up to a second or two. With classes like recon where you're far away this doesn't matter much but when you're up close this can be very deadly. Can this please be changed?

It does, but the problem is that enemy damage/projectiles are calculated on the server side as well. You can often get hit and killed when you already jumped away or dashed out behind cover.

Would make more sense to calculate the player instructions locally and sync back to the server. This is not a PvP gene, so a possibility of local abuse is not a big deal. Though, devs will likely need to re-work how the multiplayer works at its core, which might be problematic at this stage

And yet, some unpaid madmen reverse engineered a single player custom engine from 2000s to support multiplier (Might&Magic VI-VIII)
