Adding some fluff and flavour to the sprite of the gun in the bottom right, this idea would add animations for the following.
Shooting your gun
Switching ammo
Reloading (perfect, missed, normal)
Heating up
Overheating
Overheated
Cooling
I think it'd make for a nice amount of feedback!
