Hi all ! I'm new to the server and I need your help!
I've been trying for a few days to downgrade an iPad pro under iPadOS 15.4.1 to a version of IOS 12.
Obviously, the corresponding IPSW file is no longer signed by Apple and cannot be used on iTunes...
Is the handling feasible and if so do you have any tools to offer me?

THANK YOU !

Hi ! what do you mean by "sep"?

# dapper garden Hi ! what do you mean by "sep"?

SEP is a chip in the phone that handles various functions like encryption of sata, it has it’s own firmware called SEPOS and you have to flash this firmware when you restore the device. since we cannot save blobs for SEPOS, we are forced to yse the signed versions, which matches with the signed versions of iOS (currently 15.4.1). the current signed SEPOS is incompatible with anything lower than iOS 15.4 on A13+, meaning you will bootloop if you try to restore

#

even ignoring that, you don’t have blobs or a jailbreak to set nonce, meaning you can’t even attempt to downgrade

Ok so if I understand correctly, it is currently not possible to downgrade an iPad Pro from 2018 because of the SEPOS encryption program?

you cannot downgrade, thats all

Even if this iPad is equipped with an A12X chip?
