WHAT DOES THIS MEAN
Idk
Did you ever have a rootful jailbreak?
[[icleaner Pro]]
The first real iOS system cleanup and management utility
Ivano Bilenchi
7.10.0
Free
com.exile90.icleanerpro
It says pro but it’s free?
Bet lemme try that
it got rid of like 1GiB
on my iPhone XS though it cleared out a lot more
Same issue on a 14 pro but rootfull running 16.0.1
How would you go about removing all that extra space?
Uh what jailbreak are you using?
The recommended/only good jailbreak for your version is dopamine which is rootless
The only true way to get rid of excess used storage is to backup, unjailbreak, reset all contents and settings, restore from backup and rejailbreak
that wont force me on to a new version?
no
resetting from settings doesnt update you, restoring a backup from the same version or older doesnt update you
TrollStore apps show up as System Data. It might be an obvious guess but it's worth bringing up since no one else said it
do you have emulators with lots of games maybe, might a trollstore app be malfunctioning and spamming cache with useless garbage, etc
System Data usage being high for no reason is a common-ish problem even on non-jailbroken devices annoyingly
i think its because I restored from backup instead of setting up as new... + i have a shit ton of crane containers for cash app, paypal, chime lol
Edit they’re all dopamine except the 12 pro, which Fugu14
Literally me
I’d restore with succession since factory reset doesn’t restore rootfs fully
succession doesn't work on rootless
additionally theres not really a reason to use it anymore since you can just remove the jailbreak in the app
Yeah right, this one stuck to me from the old days. Brain wasn’t braining
???
