Hi guys is there a way to restore data on from iOS iphone 16 Pro on 18.6 to iphone 13 on 16.6 or 18.1. It's asking to update the phone to iOS 26.2. Thanks in advance

yes, modifying a backup across major versions spans can bootloop the device

If it’s photos you can save them to a Mac then then load them onto your iPhone

Thanks, the photos are up on the Cloud anyways. Just the whole setup as its very time consuming with all the apps and files etc

Also possibility of losing a JB phone

There are 3rd party tools that let u explore the backup files but unfortunately I cannot mention the name of this one on here as I’ve gotten warned twice about it

If you're talking about 3utools, it's spyware so that's why

Bottom line is you can edit the backup but with such a large version gap here it is very likely not going to work
