Hi, I stupidly changed the passcode to my iPhone 12 mini on IOS 16.2.1. I have a backup saved as a file. I also have access to the icloud account. I would like to stay on the same ios if possible. When I plug my phone into my computer, iTunes tells me to update my phone and then restore it. Is this nescessary? Thank you
