this is not really a topic for this server, but judging by the colors of the buttons I think your macOS version might be too old?
Also why are you installing autopkg assets?
install this one
@formal warren
I’m trying to install turdus Merula on Linux but there is no guild for a10 devices
its probably the same command
also, can you type "ls" and take a screenshot after it?
#jailbreak message download version from that specific post
you have a macOS version currently downloaded
noice
you have Linux version
what device you're trying to downgrade
and what method?
for now, open an other terminal window and type in "sudo usbmuxd -f -p" and dont close it
this is to prevent hanging on later stages
now follow the guide on the website for a10 devices, BUT
skip xattr commands part
done
second step: put ur ipad 7 in dfu
just find a tutorial on yt
it will show a black screen, that's okay
after that, in the terminal with TURDUS MERULA type in sudo ./ra1n_libusb -ED
so when in dfu it will give me a black screen
yes, and after it you type in command from message above
to get into pwned dfu mode
thank u 4 ur help
then you do sudo ./idevicerestore -o IPSW FILE OF FIRMWARE
in same terminal
to boot later on, you do sudo ./ra1n_libusb -ED
after putting it in DFU
and then ./ra1n_libusb -t iboot .img4 file -i sep.img4 -p sep.im4p
turdus should save them
omit bin/ so its just ./ra1n_libusb
./turdus_merula -o <ipsw>
what
oh right i see
yeah
the next linux release will be structured properly dw
did you put your device into pwndfu beforehand tho?
cant see from that output
thats supposed behaviour
did you did the -ED thing tho?
did it say "successfully into pwndfu" or smth like that?
Shit
Looks like I didn’t do it
What is the command again
??
@flint estuary
./ra1n_libusb -ED
it is currently in DFU
so keep it plugged
but not in pwned dfu
you now type in sudo ./ra1n_libusb -ED
nothing else
ok
and send the output
oh i see its hanging
did you re-plugged your device in DFU?
aaaaaaaaaaaarghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
fuck it
So unplug and replug now
no
??
hold power button
Oh ight
then do this
to put it into pwned dfu
??????????
Holding down home button
what device is it?
!t dfu
DFU (Device Firmware Upgrade) mode is a mode which allows a device in any condition to be restored to a fresh version of iOS (not to be confused with Recovery Mode). This can also be used to jailbreak using checkra1n and palera1n!
For how to restore in DFU mode, see /tag dfurestore
press ctrl+c
to terminate that process
then re-type -ed thing again
did you downloaded the .ipsw file of whatever firmware you want to downgrade to?
sudo ./idevicerestore -o path to ipsw file
to get path, you can just drag the ipsw on terminal window
and also, is that terminal with usbmuxd still up and running?
Yep
do then what i said
type sudo ./idevicerestore -o and drag ipsw on terminal window to get path
I did this
Is that it
if it hangs somewhere, ping me
when its done, ping me too
will show you how to boot it
type "ls" in terminal and screenshot it
I can’t find image 4
Shit found it
screenshot?
when you will do so
you do sudo ./ra1n_libusb -t iboot .img4 file -i sep.img4 -p sep.im4p
make sure to set spaces like you did with ipsw
and where i set the brackets you drag actual files
It’s not going into that dfu
It still shows the computer logo
On my iPad
@flint estuary
do how you did it first
put it into normal dfu
and then launch this
@mortal zenith how ya doing m8
Oh ok
now do this
So this
yes
yes
from image4 folder
where you have those 3 files
yes
Spaces?
copy my command, but instead of brackets, put files
like you did with that - o ipsw thing
you didnt made a space between ra1n_libusb and -t
does this take awhile
screenshot?
wait
Alr
@formal warren ayo mate is that normal?
replug maybe idk
try whole dfu thingy again
i redid it

@flint estuary
@formal warren

try that then
trapped in a bootloop
what now
this is bad
@flint estuary
@formal warren
try that command again with iboot and stuff
bootloop is normal
because unless device is pwned, it wont boot
what command
that last one
i keep seeing apple logo
make sure to dfu ofc
this is normal
device tries to boot os
sep doesnt match
crash
i cant enter dfu now
unless exploit is applied
you should be able to
i get error
what error?

@flint estuary
