#can't connect phone to itunes or anything else

my pc shows "iphone" in the device list, but itunes doesn't recognize it, ive tried:

  • (tool that starts with 3), detects, but connection timed out
  • 3 different types of cables
  • 2 different ports
  • 2 different iphones (including mine)
  • restarting both devices mulitple times (double digits)
  • installing and reinstalling apple devices
  • reinstalling itunes
    -looking for over an hour on the internet for any reddit posts or apple support threads

ive been trying for a week can someone please help me

task manager (ctrl shift esc) then go over to services and try restarting the apple mobile device service

Did you turn off iTunes in your startup area in task manager

I'd also suggest uninstalling Apple Devices and iTunes from the microsoft store, and download iTunes from Apple's website

Try going to device manager, USB, iPhone etc… and update driver. But yes, Microsoft Store version of iTunes does not work well.
