How does Tweaking via Trollfools work? any limitations?

From what I've read it is possible to install tweaks using Trollfools, installed via Trollstore, something I thought it was only possible with a jailbroken iPhone.

If this is the case, will all tweaks work?, do stock apps and springboard tweaks work as well? when / why would you need to jaibreak?.

Do tweaks installed via Trollfools persist after a reboot?

Does injecting tweaks to third party apps e.g. WhatsApp keep all its data? Could there be any complications? the other option would be installing an IPA with the injected tweak which would lose all the data, hence my question.

Also, is Trollfools better than roothide Bootstrap?, my understanding is that they're fairly similar.

nothing more

so with Trollfools I can inject any tweak to any app just like I would with a Jailbreak? and I don't have to re-jailbreak unlike other semi-untethered solutions?

you can do the same thing on stock ios already

I'm not aware of any tool that lets you tweak an app which is already installed and in use, that's why I find Trollfools to be very useful
