Nope
You’ll have to reset the phone probably
SSH Ramdisk can do that without updating
thats unfortunate.
do you happen to have any ideas for unlocking/jb iphone 7 ios 14x (bad thing is that a pc wont recognize it in normal mode because of accessory restriction)
Accessory restriction?
yes this kinda thing
Unlock the phone
i cant thats the problem
Can’t help with that either, same thing as before
If they’re tied to an iCloud account you have right now you can actually remote erase them with Find My iPhone and then not have to update
Otherwise we don’t assist with bypassing
nah imma be honest i found the phones in a dumpster and they surprisingly worked but yeah i dont have any icloud access or anything so ill prob have to find a way to just wipe them if i want to use them for anything. and yeah thats understandable thanks for the info
First check if Find My iPhone is enabled, sites like sickw can check that with the IMEI
If they are off then you can use SSH Ramdisk to reset them without updating
If they are on, you CAN reset them, but they’ll still be iCloud locked
on the 5s its enabled. on the 7 theres no imei i can find
It’s usually on the back or in the SIM slot
hmmm okay. probably rip then
We can’t assist with bypassing so that’s really the most we can do
also whats the bad thing with updating why do i neee to prevent it
You don’t NEED to prevent it but older version phones are often more valuable as they have exploits
For example that iPhone 7 has an untethered jailbreak in development (I think?)
ohh i see i see
yep i understand no worries
frick the 7 is fmi on aswell
https://al-support.apple.com/#/kbase You could try this
And see if theyll remove it
Some people with older devices have just been able to take pictures of the icloud/activation lock screen and submit that as their proof of purchase pretty sure and theyve gotten unlocked
however I do not know for certain
well i got past the icloud screen on the 7
can i get into trouble if i log into my personal icloud on it now
or is there anything i need to know
if i turn it off will it be locked again
No
