!t adblock
Hey @quick needle, have a look at this!
We strongly advise against using jailbreak-specific adblockers for numerous reasons, ranging from inefficiency (how well they actually block ads) to downright incompetency (editing system files).
The following methods can be used on both stock and jailbroken devices.
AdGuard DNS
This is the easiest method but provides no customizability.
iOS 14+ users should use the Adguard DNS Profile which works on cellular and Wi-Fi.
If you're on iOS 13 or below, navigate to Settings > Wi-Fi > [your SSID(s)] > Configure DNS and replace the IPs listed with:
94.140.14.14
94.140.15.15
NextDNS
This is for more advanced users, but provides more customization options.
Use the button below to sign up for an account, and save your profile.
Scroll down to Setup Guide and use the Apple Configuration Profile Generator if you're on iOS 14+, otherwise download the app.
NextDNS uses their own filter list by default, if you'd like to add/remove filter lists navigate to the Privacy tab.
I personally use nextdns for a ton of my network wide ad blocking stuff and I works great
There will always be a YouTube Safari ad blocker BTW
Just because that is the way it works for browsers
Same as computer ad blockers
