iPhone stuck in recovery mode. Can't get into DFU or complete a restore.

Tried updating to ios 18.1 beta 4 but have been stuck in recovery mode since.

Cant get into DFU mode and iTunes recovery just keeps getting stuck on the last 1% of the restore at "Verifying restore". Tried several times and this time has been over 20 mins. Any ideas?

even if itunes recognizes it in recovery mode, my cable could still be the issue?

yes, the phone only enters dfu when a certain voltage is asserted, recovery is less picky

yeah idk Ive tried 3 different chargers and it will only go into recovery mode. Ive tried the volume up, volume down and then holding power. Just reboots into recovery idk.

DFU (Device Firmware Upgrade) mode is a mode which allows a device in any condition to be restored to a fresh version of iOS (not to be confused with Recovery Mode). This can also be used to jailbreak using checkra1n and palera1n!

Yeah I have it just keeps booting into recovery

when it gets to verifying iphone restore try waiting 10 minutes and then force restart

you need to exit recovery with palera1n

thats the only tool that sets it back to true that i know of

Ive tried both. iTunes said failed to update and it would need a recovery. Have tried several times but doesnt move past the final verifying restore.

did u restore with an ipsw or just clicked the button and let itunes download it

while I have you, do you happen to use wifi sync with itunes? Cant get mine to work tried everything. Firewall disabled, phone and PC on same network, checked/unchecked wifi sync, restarted apple mobile services etc still doesnt recognize it lol
