this isnt anything jb related its just that no one in the r/apple server would help me

i have this iphone se 2 thats on ios 18 dev beta 7 and im tryna restore it back to ios 17

i connected it to my 2019 mbp using a usb c to lightning cable and put it in recovery mode, when i went to restore it the software was downloaded fine but it got stuck and said "the firmware file was corrupt" or some shit
i tried again but that didnt work so i downloaded the ipsw file manually but that still didnt work
i figured since sometimes the usb c cable can be a bit dodgy (e.g. with checkra1n n stuff) i tried using usb a but the ipsw or recovery didnt work
(i restarted my laptop multiple times)

someone help me PLEASE im actually about to batter my laptop 😭

You should be able to shift click and restore with the latest IPSW?

havent tried but rn its getting further than it did on my mac

also u should be using a usb c cable a good rule is to use a usb c to lightning if it shipped with the specific phone

it like gets a few seconds into extracting and then it says that it cant be restored due to corrupted firmware

but now its restoring through my pc so idk what the issue is
