honestly it might just be an issue with it's charging port or some other hardware related issue if your other phone is detected
try reinstalling itunes just in case
it's not as weird as it seems, it's possible for only data transfer to be broken but for power to work just fine

try cleaning the charging port if you trust yourself enough to do that
just try cleaning the port
if that doesn't work then the charging port's probably faulty and you need to replace it
you said your other phone works so it's definitely not the computer's fault
definitely an issue with that phone specifically, it's most likely a faulty charging port
