Issues with FutureRestore on my iPad Mini 4

Running 15.8.1 and trying to downgrade to 14.6 using my SHSH2 blobs and this guide https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-JR4vKboEzCvD_YR1lor-s8HuMAhcfarmr73KC039lM/edit#heading=h.aroc3xdx3cs2 (it was the one that the ios.cfw.guide page linked me to)

I'm forced to download the nightly version of futurerestore to get FutureRestore GUI working on my Ubuntu 23.10 install but after performing the necessary steps in Parts 1 & 2 and hitting start in futurerestore, I get an error saying that it failed to set the generator.

What should I do to fix this?

I'm unsure how to set the nonce for my device at this point, it seems like that's the biggest issue ATM

Dimentio has failed upon my attempts

Same with the standard nvram command

Both attempted with sudo or su and without

I've heard some people have had success using palera1n and I could try that tomorrow but given palera1n is rootless (except for the rootful version that I thought stopped being maintained), I'm not keeping my hopes up

Due to a miscommunication and a misunderstanding I think it’s been broken for a year

The fix is a pending pull request but you can just install the deb for now

I'm unsure if compilation requires macOS (I don't have a computer with macOS that is easily accessible)

Most definitely should have checked this before I restored to 14.6 but yes, the 15.8.1 blob is valid

my mission to upgrade to 15.8.1 with delayota to get onboard blobs and then go back to 14.6 was a success
