#Unable to set videos as wallpaper with Eneko

Been trying to use the Eneko tweak to set a custom video, but I get only one of two errors:

  • Cannot load representation of type public.mpeg-4
  • Cannot load representation of type com.apple.quicktime-movie

I have tried:

  • re-installing
  • respring
  • sbreload
  • userspace reboot
  • rebooting device (and rejailbreaking)
  • downgrading libgcuniversal
  • downgrading eneko
  • isolating the tweak with choicy (disabling every other tweak on my phone)

It seems some others have ran into this issue on Reddit, however, their solutions (such as disabling laetus) haven't worked, and it does seem like some people have been unable to fix it at all. Some said that they got this randomly after a while, and were unable to fix it. Either way, seems like a weird bug. Apparently removing the jailbreak entirely can fix the issue, but I only want to do that as a very last resort. Any suggestions for things I've missed are greatly appreciated.

@lethal tiger, sorry for the ping, but are you able to shed any light on this issue? I think Eneko uses libgcuniversal for the video fetching

as a last resort, you can place the video in the corresponding location via filza, with the appropriate naming, though you'd have to look up what that would be for eneko

well in 1.7 I added a fallback and people have told me, that with snowboard, they always have to use the fallback, while it works just fine without it

i had the same problem caused by a tweak i installed, it’s legacy arm64e support on iphone. i could select video wallpaper after i uninstalled it. however i had the same tweak (legacy arm 64e support) on ipad pro, but i had no problem selecting using eneko on the ipad.

yeah, @lapis dome try disabling all tweaks via icleaner aside from prefsloader and see if you can set a video
