erase iphone without updating it

Hi i have an iphone 4s running ios 8.3 i rly dont want to update it but i dont have the passcode. iCloud is off. How can i erase it without updating it?

@slow raft if you don't have an Arduino and USB Host Shield, or don't care to buy those things, there's nothing you can do other than to upgrade to iOS 9, then downgrade to 8.4.1 or 6.1.3

i'm just a bit worried it might be icloud locked if it's also pw locked

However you can also just update to 9.3.5 and downgrade to 8.4.1 if you really want
