I am trying to jailbreak the phone with palen1x and the phone does go to DFU mode, however it just reboots right back to recovery mode without showing the cool iphone logo with coding lines. And I did the ctrl + c and exit thing and it is still the same.

Well it would because you can bypass the hello screen with a jailbroken device.

I have done this previously like a couple of years ago more or less
