Best battery saving tweaks/tips for rootless

I’ve heard Smart battery drains more than it saves? Could anyone verify before I purchase? Any better alternatives? I downloaded too many tweaks on my old phone which drained the battery and I ultimately had to get it replaced. so I’m very cautious of my new build. Any help would be greatly appreciated

the only one i've seen that actually saves me battery is powercuf which throttles your performance (depending on what you set it to)

afaik most battery tweaks use more battery than they save since they have to hook and stuff (idk im not a dev)

Thanks again for your help. I have power cuff and have set throttling to heavy although there is definitely a noticeable performance difference

you don't have to set it to heavy, you could lessen it by a value or two

moderate or light is not very noticable (for me at least) and saves a ton on battery, although i use nominal for daily usage and just stick on low power mode
