cant connect via usb

cable is fine/pc is fine picks up my new phone but my older one (iphone 6) just says not recognised makes usb connection sound but nothing else ? anyone know a fix ? trying to install chimera

Does the device charge when plugged in to the pc even though it doesn’t recognize it?

no charge , charges from wall tho (ps when i plug in my new phone it charges from pc )

And this happens with multiple chargers correct?

mhm tried 3 all 3 do the same thing

the 6 is a no go

but my 14 fine

that's weird cuz it would seem like it would be the charger, but its not then if it happens with multiple cords

yeah my 14 pops up ya know (what to do to this iphone)

so i know the cables working

And it’s not the phone cuz it charges when it’s plugged into the wall

Do you have any other computers you can test it with?

Cuz if it doesn’t work on another computer then we could rule the computer out from being the problem
