I have the uncover jailbreak for iOS 14.2 and I am following the Dallas method but I am stuck at the rootFS step for when I go to software update it gives me an error saying unable to check for an update try again and I’m supposed to be able to see the version I choose from the enabler. How can I fix that ? Note I tried turning off the block updates from uncover but still the same error.

Can I have a question: why do you want to update your idevice to 17? Jailbreak is unstable there

Because I will be facing compatibility issues later on with apps and a lot of apps don’t support iOS 14 anymore
