do not include the square brackets
so itll turn into something like ./idevicerestore -d --variant "Customer Erase Install (IPSW)" /Users/hydrate/ipsw.ipsw for example
it should begin to restore the device, well try to

just make sure the idevicerestore file is in the same directory as terminal

this is becuase the terminal is currently set to the home directory
you will need to set it to the destktop

after that it should work correctly

download this and extract its contents to /usr/local
you can access this folder by pressing CMD + Shift + G
not the actual plus key but press those three keys together when finder is open
and type in /usr/local
drag all of the items from the lib folder into the lib folder in /usr/local
do the same for the includes, drag all the items from the includes folder to the includes folder in /usr/local
for context, these are the folders im referring to when i mention their contents, they are in the download i sent before
you can do that but i fear it will try overwrite them

and unfortunately i must be going, so please try one of the later ipsw's and see if they work

I have one last idea to try downgrade it without idevicerestore

Now keep in mind, you will likely need a usb-a to usb-c cable for this as most usb-c cables including official Apple ones don't work correctly for dfu
Was there anything on the phones screen in "dfu" mode
Because more often than not people can get confused between recovery mode and dfu mode
Recovery mode is "worse" than dfu mode if you will
Dfu mode is more extreme
Just wait it out to be honest
