I'm trying to jailbreak my old iPhone 8 with a A11 chip running on iOS 14.7.1, but the rufus.exe file/app thing isn't detecting my device even though it's plugged into my computer. Any help? Thanks!

I’m use to the palen1x iso lol. If you start with the normal option on that and select the default flash in iso mode, it will boot up to a grub recovery on the usb

Keep the usb stick plugged in, click the windoes button, and click on the power icon. Do not power off. Hold shift and click the restart button

my BIOS doesnt have/need that option to boot from USB but BIOS is different for all laptops so i have no idea

for my laptop all i do is disable secure boot, then exit bios and boot into the laptops bootmanager, but it varies a lot for different brands

#

if u cant find it maybe try google ur motherboard model, im sure other people have tried booting from usb with that motherboard
