Werid, legacy mode don't mean that u can't access the bios tho
Go to the part where u are going to shutdown/ restart your computer, then hover your mouse over restart, Don't click it yet! Hold shift then press restart, it should take u to a different menu.

ok what about the blue menu when u shift restart? it should say " choose an option"
then choose "Use a device" and select your thumbdrive with vetroy in it. (If u have not created a vetroy thumbdrive, or bootable thumbdrive, ping me and say u haven't created one yet.) if it's not there, restart your pc again, but keep your vetroy thumbdrive plugged in when restarting

Nah that unessary he should change the settings for the partition scheme if he’s using legacy boot cause Mbr isn’t gonna do it for him likely
Try spamming f11, f2, or f12 only one at a time, choose and test see where each one takes you so as you computer boots gonna need to power cycle a couple time to figure this one out, you just spam the key. you’ve likely already gotten into your boot select menu (from what you said ab secure boot) the point of getting here is so you could choose to boot from usb but it was locked by secure boot so you need to access bios settings turn that off it’s very likely one of the 3 keys I mentioned spamming on start up will take you to bios or boot select menu

(This guide might not be for him if he is not able to turn off secure boot in his computer, I suggest you take your pc to a repair shop and ask around if ppl are willing to teach you how to disable secure boot just to jailbreak ipad)
