I need some help/advise.
I have an old Ipad Air 2 on IOS 13.5 , i have blobs from 14.8 forward .
I would like to update to 14.8 , but from what i can see in the excel chart SEP/BB is not possible . (im getting "SEP Firmware is not being Signed" in future restore )

So what can i do here? should i update to last available firmware and then, downgrade to 14.8 ?

Or i have other solution ?

Currently you can restore to the following versions with the latest SEP, baseband, and U1 (if on A13 or newer non-SE iPhone's) for your device: (someone correct this its still worded like the old tag is still here)

For restores on devices that support iOS 15 and Wi-Fi only iPads, you currently must use the latest beta version of FutureRestore, see /tag futurerestore for a link.

So technically i should be able to futurerestore to IOS 14.8 straight right? but why then i do get the SEP Firmware is not being signed ?

or do i need to manually chose baseband / SEP ? i never done a futurerestore before so i just follow the guide from CFW website

In fact it looks like the one on ios.cfw.guide is outdated since 19G69 has since been unsigned. But you should be able to proceed using this guide

and can you let me know if I can go straight forward from 13.5 to 14.8 , or need to update first to 15 and then downgrade ? Because I don’t have it clear . I was thinking that since I was updating yes should work because the firmware that I’m suppose to go haves still a compatible SEP signed .

It doesnt matter what ios version you are on currently so long as you can set your generator which you can since youre jailbroken on 13.5

Ok thanks for the info . I actually did it already , little bit strange but in the end its updated to 14.8 . the only down side is that i totally forgot this was an Air2 celular version .. so i downloaded the ips file for non celular version. but looks like everything is working with card , signal etc..

Yes correct . I dont actually know to witch version i should go

Do you recommend another version from ios 15 ? i guess for that i need to go palera1n

Yeah that was my idea . then see whats coming up , because from my understanding palera1n is still not so 100% in terms of tweaks
