If Im on iOS 16.2 (first beta) can I delayOTA to iOS 16.1.2?

#

I havent tried it yet

You must go to a prior version, say ios 15.6RC1 first

I dont think that would work?

They're just morons

#

It'll work because you're not downgrading with blobs, but to an actually signed iOS version

Ah

#

Im not home right now. How much longer do you think they will keep 15.6RC signed?

#

if you had to guess

Hard to say

#

It's already months out from when it should have been unsigned

#

So it could go at any second or at the end of next month even

The process I recommend you take is,
create a device backup on your current iOS.
Shift clock the restore button in iTunes, picking the downloaded ipsw.
Delayota update to 16.1.2.
Restore your backup
