depending on the jailbreak you're using, you need libhooker or substitute installed

Chimera's success rate is poor and can take multiple attempts to successfully jailbreak, especially on older devices.

Tips to increase success rate

  • Update to the latest Chimera version (ideally 1.6.4 or later)
  • Make sure the device is charged above 20%
  • Reboot after a failed attempt
  • Wait 60 seconds before jailbreaking after a reboot/failed attempt
  • Turn low power mode off
  • Put your device in front of an air conditioner or fan

those aren't repos, those are packages. installing libhooker will install libhooker safe mode as well

repo is short for repository. consider it as a source for packages. under the sources tab, you will have a list of urls. each one is a source/repository

packages are what you install
not every package is a tweak. something is considered a tweak if it "injects" into a process. some examples include: cylinder, homegesture

you can refresh your sources by visiting the sources tab and swiping down
