Checkra1n Error -31

I’m trying to jailbreak my iPad Air (1st gen) on iOS 12.5.6 with checkra1n but I keep getting error -31. My iPad is plugged into the Apple USB C to USB A adapter, cuz my MacBook Air only has USB C slots.

I’ve also tried rebooting my PC and dfu restoring my iPad multiple times. I’ve tried both usb c slots and multiple usb a to lightning cables

Maybe try using chimera with chimera fix?

TLDR: You'll need a USB-A to Lightning cable.
USB-C to USB-A adapters will work fine.

the adapter literally does not matter, everything it does is make me able to enter dfu mode

usb c moment is a lightning to usb c cable thing
