What are you trying to do exactly?

#

What's the VM for?

FutureRestoring M1 iPad Pro from 15.5b4 to 15.4.1

#

I tried FutureRestoring on my Windows host but couldn't get it to work

oh sure Ill look into that. Is that just putting Ubuntu on a USB and running it on Windows?

No

#

You boot into the USB drive by selecting it in the BIOS/UEFI menu

I only have an 8GB USB, that wont be enough for my IPSW file along with the Ubuntu OS right

Back up all your data first

Just shrink Windows, boot Ubuntu, and it should let you flash it on the unpartitioned storage
